I would like some advice as to whether or not people would be worried about not having a linen closet in the house. This modification would work well and open up the kitchen area imo. Ensure the stand you use is strong enough to support the refrigerator when it s full and large enough to hold the entire unit. Due to the kitchen dining area being so small our only option is to put the fridge into a nook which is currently housing our linen closet.

After a week with outside temperatures in the high 90 s the closet only varied between 70 and 73 degrees.
